When Raymond B. Hayden created this bourbon in 1840, he did so to honor his grand-dad Basil Hayden. Each bottle is mark with a portrait of Basil and carries a "high-rye" mash bill to further acknowledge the former rye farmer turned legendary distiller.
Big cinnamon, dark fruit, baking spices and rye spice.
Mash Bill: 63% corn, 27% rye, 10% malted barley.
