DIABOLO DRUMMETTES + FRITES
Por wine is my family's favorite place to meet for happy hour. I always try something new on the menu when we go, and have never been disappointed- drinks or food. This week I tried the diabolo drummettes which have been my favorite so far, don't miss them!
CALAMARI
I'm obsessed with Calamari and Por House is serving up the creme de la creme; especially when pair with a glass of Pinot Noir.
POUTINE
All of the tapas and small plates hit the mark. Make sure to try the poutine, peppers, and Brussel sprouts - you won't be disappointed! Also, ask for mike who can help you pick out the best whiskey options to go with your meal!
BLISTERED SHISHITŌ PEPPERS
The Blistered Shishito Peppers were amazing, by far the best i have ever tried!
BLISTERED SHISHITŌ PEPPERS
The shishito peppers are the bomb! They keep me coming back. The location is great too, right in the heart of downtown Louisville. I always enjoy coming in and the staff is always super helpful with drink recommendations
BRUSCHETTA
Absolutely fantastic.
/pôr/ wine house, MANGO SANGRIA
Love love loved this! Just the right amount of sweet and fruity. It has hints of mango and passion fruit. Truly the best sangria I’ve had.
2018 EL REDE, Malbec
Very cute spot/vibe. As all places tend to be in Louisville/Boulder they have very small plates at very normal prices so a whole night of apps, drinks, dinner could get pricey. I would for sure go back for happy hour specifically. Service was attentive, but not too attentive. We could have gotten our check sooner but could not pin anyone down. All this to say I will be back to give it another shot--wine was great and the patio is relaxing!
BACON WRAPPED DATES
This was a fun place for a birthday get together. Tapas (bacon wrapped dates, fried Brussels sprouts) were great! The paella de mariscos was spicy, full of seafood: The calamari and mussels were tender and the shrimp had that fresh snap. The only criticism I'd have for the paella was that the socarrat was lacking, I will forgive that after the complimentary birthday Prosecco of unknown origin but lovely quality. This was my first visit, but I'd happily go back with adventuristic friends who like to share plates,
CHEESE + CHARCUTERIE BOARDS
Love at first smell! You get to eat with your eyes first, it's a beauty when placed on the table! Taste. Hands down, phenomenal. The mini-baked Brie? I didn't share so I can't tell you if the other girls liked it, but I did!
